Six Things That Shape How We Work
Expertise Grounded in Practice
Our consultants have spent years inside organisations — not studying them from a distance. The annual cycle booklet, the cross-office consulting framework, and the off-site facilitation approach were all shaped by working through real situations with managers who had limited time and complicated teams.
Something to Show for It
Every engagement ends with something written. Not a slide deck assembled in a hurry, but a considered document — a setup guide, a workshop summary, a booklet — that the team can return to. The work doesn't disappear when the meeting is over.
Listening as the Starting Point
Before proposing anything, we spend time understanding the actual situation. Pre-event interviews for off-sites, discovery conversations for consulting engagements. What we offer is shaped around what we hear, not what we assumed before we arrived.
Multi-Site Experience
Working across offices in different cities or countries creates specific friction. Wovenly's cross-office consulting was built around those particular difficulties — the way distance makes some things invisible, the meeting rhythms that feel right to one site and wrong to another.
Handled with Discretion
People questions often carry weight. Sensitive performance situations, internal tensions, leadership concerns. We handle what we hear carefully and do not share client details with other clients. Confidentiality is not a footnote — it is part of the basic arrangement.
Honest About What We Can Do
We describe our services plainly and do not make claims about outcomes we cannot know in advance. A two-day off-site can produce clarity and forward motion. It cannot undo years of accumulated difficulty. We are careful to say so.
Expertise
Years of Experience in Malaysian Organisations
Wovenly's work draws on a combined background in human resources, organisational development, and senior facilitation across a range of industries in Malaysia. We have worked with family businesses in Sabah navigating succession questions, with professional services firms managing the gap between Kuala Lumpur and regional offices, and with manufacturing organisations trying to build consistent people management across shifts and sites.
That range of experience shapes how we approach each engagement. We bring context, not just a framework.
Process
A Structured Approach to Unstructured Situations
People management problems rarely present neatly. The Annual Cycle Companion gives managers a structure to work within across twelve months — not a rigid script, but a considered set of prompts that keep the important conversations from being postponed indefinitely.
For consulting and facilitation work, we bring a clear process: listen first, design the engagement around what we hear, deliver the work, and follow it with something written. That sequence is consistent across every engagement.
Technology & Communication
Comfortable Working Across Distance
The booklet subscription is delivered entirely remotely. Cross-office consulting combines remote conversations with on-site visits. We are comfortable using video calls, shared documents, and asynchronous communication to move work forward — particularly relevant for clients managing teams across Sabah, Peninsular Malaysia, or neighbouring countries.
Value
Clear Pricing, No Hidden Scope
Our three services are priced clearly: the Annual Cycle Companion Booklet at MYR 470, the Cross-Office Co-Working Setup at MYR 2,250, and the Senior Team Off-Site Facilitation at MYR 4,300. What is included in each engagement is set out before work begins. If something outside the agreed scope is needed, we discuss it directly — there are no unexpected additions.
